Nissan is currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill an opening for an ENGINEER at our Satellite office in Canton, MS.
Background:
NTCNA will reinforce the satellite office in each our manufacturing location in Canton, MS. Degreed Engineers are required in all commodities, with emphasis on:
Body/Door
Exterior
Interior
Electrical
Audio/IT
Transfers and/or 2 year assignments will be considered for internal candidates. The main enhancements to the existing processes will be:
Collaboration and good working relationship between Plant, TCS and R&D to foster quick problem solving
Quick and continuous improvement required for 3MIS and IQS
Improve speed to resolve engineering issues
Collaborate on field quality issues to quickly identify root cause & countermeasure, both short & long term
Prevent defect out-flow to reduce 0 MIS via Design change
Support launch events (PT, FVC and SOP) complimenting engineers supporting by business trip; including supplier preparation (FMC, MC, MY)
Roles and
Responsibilities:
Integral member of Plant daily meetings
Function as design engineer in the plant
Investigate and develop Design c/m
Verify direction with the release engineer
Draft Quick D-note in advance of formal D-note to support
Not a liaison, not a window, but an R&D member within the Plant
PMD KPI is CUS closure time
Supplier parts check
Field quality scramble
