As a Registered Nurse you are responsible for delivering occupational health services to patients. You are engaged with planning, implementing and evaluating health maintenance & health education programs. You move quickly with the changing environment while maintaining a friendly and patient-centric attitude to help foster collaboration to ensure happier, healthier employees. In addition to being engaged and empathetic, you possess the strong communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
This opportunity is per diem, located onsite at our clinic in Canton, MS!
Responsibilities
o Promote/restore patient health through collaboration & providing physical/psychological support to patients
o Diagnose and treat patients, referring to a higher level when needed
o Assist with administration of health and wellness initiatives
o Foster, promote and restore patient health through use of wellness materials and providing support to employees
Minimum qualifications
o Associate degree in nursing
o License to practice in the State as an RN
o 3
years of clinical experience
o Experience in occupational health nursing, hospital emergency service, public health nursing, or any combination of the above is required
o Excellent communications skills, familiarity with computer and medical recordkeeping software
o American Heart Association Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Preferred qualifications
o Bachelor degree in nursing
o COHN certification
