As a Nurse Practitioner, you are responsible for delivering primary care services to patients. You are committed to providing quality evidence-based medical care by taking the needed time to consult with the individual in order to diagnosis and treat them effectively. You move quickly with the changing environment while maintaining a friendly and patient-centric attitude to help foster collaboration to ensure happier, healthier employees. In addition to being empathetic and committed, you possess the strong communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
This opportunity is per diem, located onsite at our clinic in Canton, MS!
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients/ conduct physical health assessments
Diagnose patients based on results of the evaluation
Determine proper management and treatment plans of patients ailments
Foster, promote and restore patient health through use of wellness materials and providing support to employees
Minimum qualifications
Master's degree in Nursing
License to practice in the State as an NP
2-4
years of experience in an NP role - clinical setting
National certification as an Adult of Family NP
Excellent communications skills, familiarity with computer and medical recordkeeping software
Preferred qualifications
Experience with NextGen a plus
