We're currently looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Canton, MS.
The Maintenance Technician will support Maintenance Manufacturing departments by providing support in equipment breakdown activities.
This position contributes to building brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.
We are looking for candidates flexible to afternoon and night shifts.
Job Functions The following job function statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed.

The job function statements reflect expectations of the fully trained, proficient incumbent who meets all performance criteria.
Troubleshoots systemic issues within the plant and effects maintainable countermeasures Leads technician training for their respective shift and assists the supervisor in assessing skill level of the technicians, coordinates within the supervisor training regimens based upon those observations Recommends and makes improvements to maintenance systems, processes, and work flow seeks technician involvement for problem solving and needed shop improvement ideas.
Actively engages the entire workforce in the problem solving process Assists within the plant during breakdown activities Communicates with suppliers and vendor regularly.
Orders necessary shop materials utilizing all necessary processes and resources Coordinates feasibility studies and evaluations of manufacturing and engineering concerns Minimum Qualifications The following qualification statements reflect the minimum skills and abilities required of the qualified applicant.
0-2 years experience Technical school and/or maintenance apprenticeship required.
Consider equivalent related college or technical courses.
Industrial Maintenance background required, knowledge of PLC's, robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics and strong troubleshooting ability in these areas Working knowledge of spreadsheet application and other PC and mainframes applications Excellent verbal and written communications Nissan is committed to a drug-free workplace.
